Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makungu lands a nice shot to the body.
Man wants to clinch up but Makungu keeps it at a distance.
Makungu looks to land a right hand but Man moved out of range.
Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Makungu circles away.
Makungu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nice uppercut there from Makungu.
Makungu throws a jab when Man was well out of range.

Man uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Makungu.
Makungu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Makungu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Man's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makungu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Makungu in particular looking to stall.
Man throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Makungu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Man does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Makungu wants to work for an arm triangle but Man is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Man can do anything to dispel that myth.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Makungu connects with a nice short shot to Man's temple.
Makungu uses his free foot to push down on Man's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Man.

Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Makungu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Man tries to lock up and control but Makungu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Makungu is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Makungu wants to finish this one by submission but Man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Makungu.
Man is still in real trouble! Can Makungu finish him?
Makungu lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Makungu! Man is hurt baaadly! Makungu is firing away with more strikes - Man is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
