Arts comes to the cage accompanied by Face the Pain. Savage has chosen BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden" as his entrance music. Marshall Arts could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arnaud Savage's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marshall Arts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Arnaud Savage!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arts is looking to clinch.
Savage shoots in and drives through. Arts sprawls well.
Marshall Arts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arts fails in his attempt to clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Savage.
Arts looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Arts tries to clinch but Savage is having none of it.
Arts moves in looking to clinch but Savage pushes him off.
Savage keeps the fight on the outside.

Savage closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Arts tries to break the clinch but Savage is controlling the position.

Marshall Arts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnaud Savage.

Savage looking to control but Arts is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Savage is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Arts to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Arts shrugs it off.

Savage looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Arts is looking to get to half guard.
Savage moves to back control.
Savage doesn't have the hooks in and Arts manages to turn into his guard.
Arts wants to pass the guard but Savage is keeping the position.
Savage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arts's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Savage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Savage has managed to get both his arms back between Arts's legs - danger averted.

Arts looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Savage is looking to advance position but Arts has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Savage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Arts!
Savage can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Arts is looking to escape.
Arts is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Savage has taken his back.

Savage is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

and Savage finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Savage counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Arts tries to lock up and control but Savage gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Savage has hold of Arts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Arts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Arts is desperately trying to improve his position but Savage has a good base and remains in mount.

Savage is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Arts has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Arts!

Savage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arts's guard.

Arts is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Savage pushes down on Arts's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Savage wants to pass the guard but Arts is defending well.
Savage uses his free foot to push down on Arts's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Arts.
