McGee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anna Lucia. Pereira has chosen Game over as his entrance music. Ulysses Pereira is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

McGee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pereira!

Pereira's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
McGee prevents Pereira from getting the reversal.

It looks like Ulysses Pereira has been cut.

McGee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pereira manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ground and pound from McGee seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

McGee cracks Pereira with a big right hand but Pereira just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Pereira is trying to escape the position but McGee is controlling the position.

McGee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pereira is trying to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

McGee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pereira is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

McGee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McGee looks up at the clock and then as Pereira takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McGee smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pereira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McGee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pereira keeps working.
Pereira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pereira gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Pereira is squirming around, avoiding McGee's attempts to control the action.
McGee lands a big elbow.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McGee cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGee is working for a guillotine from mount but Pereira frees his head quite easily.

McGee cracks Pereira with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McGee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

McGee is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Pereira is forced to tap! Great finish!
