Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Olyphant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edsel Tatoy Sr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. David Olyphant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Olyphant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Edsel Tatoy Sr! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olyphant misses with a takedown attempt - Tatoy Sr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tatoy Sr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Tatoy Sr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Olyphant swivels and escapes. Olyphant has a takedown stuffed. Olyphant gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tatoy Sr counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Olyphant. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olyphant has Tatoy Sr pulled in close to control his posture. Olyphant preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tatoy Sr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Olyphant swivels though and keeps the full guard. Olyphant is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatoy Sr wants to control from the top but Olyphant keeps moving. Olyphant looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Olyphant controls Tatoy Sr momentarily but Tatoy Sr frees himself. Tatoy Sr wants to control from the top but Olyphant keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tatoy Sr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Olyphant sprawls well initially but Tatoy Sr persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Olyphant controlling the position well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olyphant manages to escape and get back to his feet! Tatoy Sr tries to clinch but Olyphant is having none of it. Olyphant looks to score with a jab to the body but Tatoy Sr is just out of range. Olyphant shoots for a takedown but Tatoy Sr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tatoy Sr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tatoy Sr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tatoy Sr shoots in for a takedown but Olyphant shows good takedown defense. Tatoy Sr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olyphant is trying to control Tatoy Sr's posture but Tatoy Sr avoids it. Olyphant manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Olyphant regains full guard. Nicely done. Tatoy Sr is sitting in close to Olyphant's body. Olyphant has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tatoy Sr is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tatoy Sr is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Olyphant.
