Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sagat Maokhamphiou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naomasa Yi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maokhamphiou comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne Right Above It. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi looks to land a right hand but Maokhamphiou moved out of range.
Maokhamphiou moves in looking to clinch but Yi pushes him off.
Yi has managed to clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Maokhamphiou obliges.
Yi trying to stall but Maokhamphiou improves his position.
Maokhamphiou creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Yi's defenses.
Maokhamphiou unloads a knee to the mid-section. Yi lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Yi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maokhamphiou tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Yi avoids it.

Yi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maokhamphiou just stands there and leans against the cage.

Maokhamphiou wants to stand and escape but instead Yi has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Maokhamphiou wants to stand but Yi is controlling the position.
Yi wants to control from the top but Maokhamphiou keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yi is working Maokhamphiou over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Maokhamphiou knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yi on the ground.

Yi lands a big shot there that rocks Maokhamphiou but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yi lands a big shot there that rocks Maokhamphiou but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Yi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Maokhamphiou has worked his arm free - good work by Maokhamphiou!
Yi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Maokhamphiou to see if he's OK.
Maokhamphiou is not content to let Yi control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naomasa Yi dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Naomasa Yi's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Maokhamphiou tries to close the distance and clinch but Yi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Some wild striking there from Maokhamphiou.
Yi wants to clinch but Maokhamphiou slips to the side
and Maokhamphiou counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Maokhamphiou.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yi is looking to control Maokhamphiou's arms but Maokhamphiou gets an underhook and turns him. Now Yi has his back to the cage.

Yi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maokhamphiou swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maokhamphiou does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Yi wants to pass the guard but Maokhamphiou is defending well.
Yi moves into full mount! Maokhamphiou won't be happy about that!

Yi working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Maokhamphiou turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Yi off and cradles Maokhamphiou's limp body as Yi celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Naomasa Yi!
