Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomar Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ernesto Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomar Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernesto Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez has a takedown stuffed. Nice sprawl there from Washington as Gonzalez shoots in. Washington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Gonzalez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gonzalez is standing up over Washington. Washington looks to escape but Gonzalez dives into side control.
Gonzalez trying to control the action but Washington is working from the bottom. I wouldn't like to be where Washington is right now. Washington is pushing Gonzalez's head away, looking to escape. Gonzalez manages to hold on to the position though. Washington sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gonzalez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Washington defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Washington is trying to get back to full guard. Washington controlling the position well. Gonzalez decides to return to a standing position. Washington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Gonzalez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gonzalez preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez is in close to Washington's body, working some short punches and elbows. Gonzalez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gonzalez trying to control the position from guard on top but Washington is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gonzalez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Washington isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gonzalez stacks Washington on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gonzalez! Washington is not content to let Gonzalez control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gonzalez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Washington has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gonzalez but great work by Washington.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Washington trying to control the position but Gonzalez is working away. Gonzalez wants to control but Washington postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Washington trying to control the action but Gonzalez is working from the bottom. Washington taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Washington tries to stand but Gonzalez is controlling his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Washington is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gonzalez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gonzalez manages to get back to half guard. Gonzalez tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Gonzalez controlling the position well. Gonzalez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Washington. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Washington throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gonzalez. Gonzalez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Washington counters with a shoot takedown. Gonzalez fights it but they end up in guard. Gonzalez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Washington's guard. Gonzalez pushing down on Washington's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gonzalez is thwarting Washington's attempts to control the position. Gonzalez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Washington is just riding it out for now. Gonzalez eventually gives up the hold. Washington works his way to full guard. Good work.

Gonzalez forces his way into half guard. Gonzalez is looking for a kimura but Washington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gonzalez to get the leverage. Gonzalez is breathing heavily. Washington slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gonzalez prevents Washington from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez stands up from Washington's guard - Gonzalez perhaps looking for a knockout. Washington doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gonzalez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Washington's guard. Washington is pulling down on Gonzalez's head to control his posture. Gonzalez stands up and waves to Washington to follow him. Gonzalez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gonzalez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Washington looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez stands up and beckons Washington to his feet. Washington tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Washington fails with the takedown and Gonzalez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Washington's guard. Gonzalez won't allow Washington to sweep him here. Washington wants to hit a switch here but Gonzalez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Washington there! Washington is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gonzalez stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez shoots and misses and Washington counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gonzalez won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Washington decides to stand back up. Washington steps back and let's Gonzalez get back to his feet. Washington swinging wildly here.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomar Washington. That's going to take a lot out of him. Washington keeping moving, preventing Gonzalez from controlling successfully. Washington tries to land a sweep but no joy. Washington might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gonzalez trying to move into half guard but instead Washington has managed to sweep! Gonzalez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Washington controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernesto Gonzalez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Washington's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gonzalez stands and steps away. Washington gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Gonzalez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gonzalez tries to score a body lock takedown but Washington shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Washington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Washington fails with the takedown and Gonzalez counters with a shoot takedown. Washington fights it but they end up in guard.

Gonzalez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Washington has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gonzalez is looking to defend but Washington has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gonzalez! Washington pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gonzalez taps out and this one is all over!
