Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah CD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corleone has chosen Four Year Strong - Find My Way Back as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rich Corleone was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah CD!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Corleone!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Corleone checks a leg kick.
CD loads up on a big right hand but Corleone slips the punch.
Corleone slips under a jab from CD.
Corleone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from CD.
CD misses with a two punch combination.
Corleone lands with a shot to the body.
CD tries to clinch but Corleone moves out of range.
CD tries to clinch up but Corleone circles away and keeps his distance.
Corleone swats away the attempt to clinch by CD.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Corleone checks a leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - CD finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

CD goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Corleone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
CD managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Corleone.

Corleone working the ground and pound but CD is defending the strikes.
CD prevents Corleone from improving position.
Corleone throws an elbow but CD slips to the side and avoids it well.

Corleone looking to punish the body of his opponent here but CD is avoiding damage well.
Corleone misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
CD is looking to reverse the position.
Corleone fails to land a wild elbow strike.
CD is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Corleone with the ground and pound but CD regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
CD tries to kick Corleone off but Corleone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

CD looking to hit a scissor sweep but Corleone is one step ahead there.
Corleone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Corleone won't allow CD to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rich Corleone dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A slapping leg kick lands for CD.
CD thows a body kick. Corleone tries to catch it but that hurt him.
CD pulls out of a head kick attempt.
CD looks to score with a jab to the body but Corleone is just out of range.
Noah CD seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - CD looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Corleone takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
CD defending well as Corleone loads up on a big left hand.
CD throws a nice head kick!
CD throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

CD is looking to score with low kicks.
CD will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
CD jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Corleone on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by CD. CD obviously looking to wear him down.
Corleone slips a straight right by CD.
CD looks to land a body kick but Corleone moved away.
CD misses with a low kick.
CD feints and then cracks Corleone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Corleone down.
The fight stays on the outside here - CD looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
CD misses with a low kick.
Corleone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
CD wants to clinch up but Corleone keeps it at a distance.
Corleone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corleone looks to throw the jab but CD is out of range.
Corleone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
CD scores with a hook.
CD checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A head kick misses from CD.

CD tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corleone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
CD connects with a high kick.
CD goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nice shot lands for CD.
Corleone blocks a low kick nicely.
CD throws a leg kick
and Corleone counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Corleone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
CD wants to stand and escape but Corleone is having none of it.
CD is trying to control the position but Corleone postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
CD pushes Corleone off and scrambles back to his feet.
Corleone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt CD.
CD ducks right into an uppercut from Corleone.
CD throws a left and a right that both miss
and CD takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
CD fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Corleone is out of range.
CD keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
CD scoring well with a low kick there.
CD thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Noah CD will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

CD lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

CD keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A low kick from CD is predictable there
and Corleone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
CD is refusing to be controlled, as Corleone sits in half guard.
CD wants to get back to his feet.
Corleone not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Corleone thows a huge punch but CD dodges it nicely.
Corleone looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Corleone stalling away here and it's allowed CD to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as CD holds on and takes a little breather.
Corleone postures up in CD's guard and throws a big left but CD blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corleone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Corleone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
CD looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Corleone puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

CD works his way to full guard. Good work.
Corleone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
CD has his feet on Corleone's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
CD stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

CD wants to clinch.
Corleone moves out of range as CD throws a body kick.
CD throws a leg kick
and Corleone counters with a nice leg kick.
CD wants to clinch
and Corleone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
CD throws a sloppy head kick
and Corleone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
CD throws a leg kick but Corleone moved away.
And that's the end of the fight!
Rich Corleone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Corleone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
