Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prolly Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Prolly Rain enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Salcedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Prolly Rain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salcedo tries to clinch up. Salcedo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rain. Salcedo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Salcedo looks to land a combination but Rain avoids it well. Rain dodges the punch combination from Salcedo.

A punch combination from Salcedo misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rain ducks under a wild hook from Salcedo. Salcedo tries to clinch up but Rain circles away and keeps his distance. A combination from Salcedo does no damage. Salcedo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Salcedo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salcedo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rain circles away quickly and effectively. Oscar Salcedo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Salcedo lands an overhand right. Rain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rain scoring with punches to the head and body. Salcedo wants to sweep here but Rain controlling him for the moment. Rain working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Salcedo's head. Salcedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rain on the ground. Rain throwing strikes but missing. Salcedo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rain is one step ahead there. Rain's corner is telling him to maintain position. Rain chips away with some ground and pound. Rain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rain throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rain is looking to work some ground and pound but Salcedo has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Salcedo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain throwing strikes from guard but Salcedo blocks nicely. Salcedo is trying to control the position but Rain postures up. Salcedo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rain scoring with some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Rain trying to control but Salcedo is working from the bottom. Rain thows a big elbow that misses. Rain throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rain trying to control but Salcedo is working from the bottom. Rain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Salcedo controlling the position. Rain won't allow Salcedo to sweep him here. Rain not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Salcedo tries to clinch but Rain is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salcedo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rain looks gassed! Salcedo slips a straight right by Rain. Salcedo gets a clinch. Salcedo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Salcedo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Salcedo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rain shoots in looking for a takedown. Salcedo tries to sprawl out of it but Rain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salcedo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rain shoots in but Salcedo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rain steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Salcedo. Salcedo moves in looking to clinch but Rain pushes him off. Rain slips a jab and a cross from Salcedo.

Salcedo lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Rain sprawling to the canvas. Salcedo follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Rain hang on?
Rain is rocked!
It looks like Prolly Rain has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Salcedo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Rain quite badly. Rain pulls Salcedo in close trying to recover. Salcedo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Rain on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Rain doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Salcedo!
