And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martinez pinned against the cage. Martinez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dorado is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dorado trying to keep a closed guard but Martinez is proving a slippery customer.
Martinez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dorado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martinez has Dorado pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Martinez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dorado tumbling to the mat - Martinez dives into Dorado's guard.
Dorado looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martinez is one step ahead there.

Martinez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dorado dives on top into guard.

Martinez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dorado's guard.
Martinez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Martinez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dorado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martinez drops back looking for a leg! Dorado is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dorado manages to kick Martinez off! Martinez jumps back into Dorado's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martinez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dorado's guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Martinez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dorado is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Martinez keeps control of the position easily here as Dorado tries to buck him off.

Roberto Martinez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roberto Martinez.

Martinez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Martinez showed some decent athleticism there.
Martinez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
