Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bennet Amparo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bennet Amparo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed swinging wildly here.
Speed has a takedown stuffed.
Speed takes one to the chin there.
Amparo scores with a punch to the head.

Amparo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Amparo tries to free his leg and advance position but Speed is retaining full guard.
Amparo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Speed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Amparo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Speed swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Amparo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Speed connects with a single shot there.
Speed scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Amparo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Amparo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Amparo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Speed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Amparo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Speed has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Speed!

Amparo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Speed shoots in looking for a takedown. Amparo tries to sprawl out of it but Speed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amparo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Amparo counters by moving into the clinch.
Amparo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Speed pulls his leg out and moves away.
Amparo throws a series of punches but Speed avoids them all with ease.
Amparo shoots in and drives through. Speed sprawls well.
Speed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amparo tries to avoid it but Speed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amparo to the ground. Amparo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amparo is looking to slow Speed down with leg kicks.
Speed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amparo's waist but Amparo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Speed off to one side.
Amparo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Speed is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Amparo is defending well for now.
Speed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Speed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amparo as he jumps to the side.
Speed fails with a takedown attempt.
Amparo closes the distance and clinches up with Speed, looking for a takedown. Amparo pushes Speed against the cage but Speed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Amparo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Speed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Amparo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Amparo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
