Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sir Didymus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Didymus comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the TerrorDome. Kelly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dayman. Charlie Kelly has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Didymus! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charlie Kelly! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly misses with a body shot.
Kelly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Didymus momentarily.
Didymus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Didymus shoots in but Kelly avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kelly misses with a body shot.
Kelly swings for the body but Didymus moves out of range.
Didymus jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Didymus was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly. Kelly throws a big shot that misses. Didymus throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily. Kelly keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Didymus. Didymus misses with a hook to the body
enabling Kelly to counter with a crisp jab. Didymus swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kelly misses with an uppercut. Didymus saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly slips a jab from Didymus. A swing and a miss from Kelly. Didymus takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Didymus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Didymus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Didymus trying to control but Kelly is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kelly is squirming around, avoiding Didymus's attempts to control the action. Kelly tries to hold on but Didymus pushes him away. Kelly might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Didymus kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Didymus looking to finish Kelly with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kelly!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Didymus lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Didymus with the ground and pound from mount. Didymus moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kelly has worked his arm free - good work by Kelly!
Didymus trying to control the action but Kelly is working from the bottom. Didymus throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kelly works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Didymus tries to pass to full mount but Kelly defends it. Didymus is working hard here to advance position. Didymus throws a strike but Kelly avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Didymus postures up in Kelly's guard and throws a big left but Kelly blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Didymus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Didymus with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Didymus swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kelly moves out of range of the strikes. Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Didymus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Didymus. Kelly connects with a body shot. Didymus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kelly sprawls well initially but Didymus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Didymus wants to take a breather but Kelly is having none of it. Didymus misses with a head shot. Kelly uses the momentum to regain guard. Kelly has his feet on Didymus's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sir Didymus dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Didymus defending well as Kelly loads up on a big left hand. Didymus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kelly. Kelly misses with a looping left. Kelly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Didymus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly misses the body punch and Didymus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Didymus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Didymus looks to land a right hand but Kelly moved out of range. Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Didymus moves away. Didymus throws a shot from downtown. Kelly moves away and avoids it. A slow jab from Kelly misses its intended target. Didymus looks to throw the jab but Kelly is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Didymus jabbing away but nothing is landing. Didymus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kelly steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Didymus. Kelly throws the left hand but Didymus avoids the punch easily. Didymus scores a takedown into full mount! Didymus prevents Kelly from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Didymus goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kelly is on top in guard.
Kelly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Didymus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kelly is looking to stand up but Didymus won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kelly wants to stand and escape but instead Didymus has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kelly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Didymus wants to control from the top but Kelly keeps moving. Kelly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelly keeping moving, preventing Didymus from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kelly scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Didymus doesn't seem bothered though. Kelly scores with the left hand. Didymus knows he should have avoided that one. Kelly slips a straight right by Didymus. Charlie Kelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kelly ducks under a wild hook from Didymus. Didymus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Didymus is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kelly's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Didymus throws a shot from downtown. Kelly moves away and avoids it. Kelly lands a head shot. Kelly lunges at Didymus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Didymus's hand. A left lands for Kelly. Didymus stuns Kelly with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kelly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Didymus.
Kelly takes a swing at Didymus's ribcage but misses. Didymus misses the jab. Sir Didymus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kelly throws a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Didymus. Beautiful body shot. A big left from Didymus misses. Didymus throws a shot to the body.
Didymus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kelly counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kelly misses with a wild body shot. Kelly scores with a nice head shot. Kelly shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Didymus.
Didymus fails to land the takedown. Didymus misses the body punch and Kelly counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kelly thows a body shot but no joy. Didymus swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Didymus misses with a looping right. Didymus throws a body punch but Kelly moves out of range. Didymus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kelly.
Didymus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Didymus throws a shot from downtown. Kelly moves away and avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sir Didymus will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Didymus takes a swing at Kelly's ribcage but misses. Kelly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Didymus misses its intended target. Didymus throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily. Didymus drives through with a takedown into guard. Kelly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Didymus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kelly works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kelly keeping moving, preventing Didymus from controlling successfully. Didymus with a nice head shot there. Didymus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Didymus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kelly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Didymus is controlling him. Kelly controlling the position. Kelly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Didymus looking to sit in guard and control but Kelly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Didymus looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kelly is defending well. Didymus quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kelly has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Didymus celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sir Didymus! Sir Didymus retains his bantamweight title!
