Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curt Henning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henning comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mr. Perfect kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenneth Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curt Henning! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster just misses with a punch to the body.
Foster tries to land a front kick but Henning steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Henning shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster keeping control of the position. Henning is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Foster reverses the position - he's now on top in Henning's guard. Foster drops back looking for a leg! Henning is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Henning manages to kick Foster off! Foster jumps back into Henning's guard. Foster trying to control but Henning is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster postures up in Henning's guard and throws a big left but Henning blocks it. Foster tries to free his leg and advance position but Henning is retaining full guard. Henning seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Foster wants to control from the top but Henning keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Henning has control of Foster's left arm, preventing Foster from doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kenneth Foster. Foster lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Henning punishes Foster's body with a nice straight punch. Foster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Henning counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Foster's guard now. Foster trying to keep a closed guard but Henning is proving a slippery customer.
Foster wants to stand up but Henning is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster keeping moving, preventing Henning from controlling successfully. Henning is stalling in the full guard. Foster is trying to control the position but Henning postures up.
Kenneth Foster has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Foster looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Foster with a lazy takedown attempt and Henning counters with a nice double leg into side control. Foster won't be happy with that. Foster is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henning wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foster keeps working. Henning controls the position. The strikes coming from Henning are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Henning wants to control but Foster is keeping him busy. Foster tries to get back to half guard but can't. Henning cracks Foster with an elbow. That is naaassty. A lull in the action here as Henning stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Curt Henning dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Henning closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Foster did well to prevent Henning getting side control. Henning slows the pace down in half guard. Henning thows a huge punch but Foster dodges it nicely.
Foster wants to get back to his feet.
Foster tries to roll over but Henning keeps him under control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Henning trying to pass the guard but Foster defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henning is just content to waste time from the top position. Foster takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Foster will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Henning pushes down on Foster's leg and manages to get into half guard. Foster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Foster is refusing to be controlled, as Henning sits in half guard. Foster could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Henning takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Well, if Henning is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Henning wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foster keeps working. Henning controlling the action here.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Curt Henning wasn't active enough on the ground. Henning clinches up with Foster and pushes him back against the cage. Henning turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Henning manages to end up in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henning tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henning has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Henning trying to control the position but Foster is working away. Foster is looking for a sweep. Henning scoring with punches from side control. Henning lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Foster down.
Henning is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Foster knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Henning cracks Foster with a big right hand but Foster just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henning in side control, just content to control the action for now. Curt Henning has got the better of the ground game so far. Foster taking punishment in the form of punches.
Foster is trying to escape the position but Henning is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Curt Henning showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Henning closes the distance and clinches. Henning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Left hook, right uppercut from Foster. Henning gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Henning lands a takedown into guard.
Foster wants to stand but Henning is controlling the position. Foster bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henning's guard. Foster stopping the sweep attempt from Henning. Foster in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Henning is keeping the position for now. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Henning is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henning is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Henning circles away from the clinch attempt and Henning counters with a nice double leg into side control. Foster won't be happy with that. Foster is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Henning working away. Henning tries for a kimura but Foster is defending well. Henning looks up at the clock and then as Foster takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Henning smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Foster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Henning connects with a decent elbow. Foster trying to remain calm as Henning controls from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henning working the head with strikes. Henning tries to advance to mount but can't. Foster is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Henning lands a decent elbow from side control. Henning trying to control the action but Foster is working from the bottom. Foster misses with an elbow from the bottom. Henning is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Foster has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henning advances to full mount. Henning really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Henning controlling the pace for now. Henning moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Foster has worked his arm free - good work by Foster!
Henning takes a little break here. Foster wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
And that's the end of the fight! Curt Henning comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Henning winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
