Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wladimir Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chop Shuey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Racionais MCs - A Vida é Desafio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wladimir Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chop Shuey! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reis throws a shot to the body.
Shuey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reis tries to avoid it but Shuey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reis to the ground. Reis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jab, jab by Reis - just one landing. Reis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reis throws a sloppy head kick and Shuey moves out of range easily. Reis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shuey's head backwards. Reis misses with a double jab.
Wladimir Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shuey fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reis really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Reis tries to bum rush Shuey with a series of wild strikes but Shuey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reis swings for the body but Shuey moves out of range.
Shuey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reis circles away. Wladimir Reis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chop Shuey. Shuey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reis as he jumps to the side. Good exchange - Reis coming out on top. Reis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Horrible takedown by Shuey or perhaps it was just good defense by Reis which made him look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis lands a nice shot that snaps Shuey's head back.
Reis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shuey circles away quickly and effectively. Shuey takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Reis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Reis lands a two punch combo.
Shuey dodges the punch combination from Reis.
Wladimir Reis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A bone on bone clash there as Shuey blocks the leg kick.
Reis fails to land with a series of punches.
Shuey takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A shot to the liver by Reis. Beautiful body shot. Shuey looks gassed! Reis scores with a hook to the body. Shuey takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A left and a right from Reis both land. Nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reis lands with a nice combination. Shuey backs away looking to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Reis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Shuey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reis lands a jab. Reis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A jab from Reis does it's job there. Nice cross by Reis. Danga de danga de dang - Reis scores with a four punch combination!
Shuey is rocked! Shuey blocks a low kick nicely. Reis darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Reis lands a head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Shuey 's head but he takes it in his stride. Reis throws a right and a left that Shuey avoids nicely. Reis cracks Shuey with a good jab. Reis misses with a two punch combination.
Reis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Shuey is still on wobbly legs! Can Reis finish him? Reis connects with a jab. Reis misses the shot to the body. Shuey seems to have recovered his senses. Reis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shuey circles away quickly and effectively. Reis misses with a wild combination.
Left hook, right uppercut from Reis. A combination from Reis does no damage. Reis scores with a decent looking hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reis throws a combination. Shuey tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Reis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Shuey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Reis looks to land a combination. Shuey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Reis is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Shuey moves out of range of the leg kick from Reis. Reis connects with a jab. Reis is working the combinations to good effect here. Reis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Shuey's hands. Reis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Reis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reis. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Reis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Reis. Reis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shuey's head backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wladimir Reis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Reis lands a nice hook to Shuey's body. Shuey takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Reis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Reis cracks Shuey with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Reis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Shuey to stand back up! Reis drops Shuey with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Shuey! Reis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wladimir Reis!
