Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joh Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tidal Wave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wave has chosen Comfortably Numb Solo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joh Jah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tidal Wave!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave misses with a straight right.
Jah steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wave.
Jah scores with a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jah, as that shot connected.
Wave misses with a wild body shot.
Wave smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jah swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wave ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jah moves away.
Jah throws a jab but it's blocked by Wave.
Jah swings for the body but Wave moves out of range.
Jah throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jah throws a jab when Wave was well out of range.
Jah checks a leg kick.
Wave uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jah.
Jah tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jah takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wave misses the shot to the body.
Wave changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jah looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wave has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The strikes coming from Wave are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Wave is looking to take a break and control but Jah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wave postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jah tries to bench press Wave off him but Wave keeps the position.
Jah manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wave's best efforts.
Jah is pressing down on Wave's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Wave tries to free his leg and advance position but Jah is retaining full guard.

Wave cracks Jah with a solid left hand.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wave distracts Jah with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jah manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wave is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jah controlling the pace for now.
Jah wants to control the pace but Wave is squirming around nicely.
Wave is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wave tries to hold on but Jah postures up.
Jah looking to control but Wave is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Jah fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Wave tries to hold on but Jah postures up.
Wave gets back to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wave keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jah takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jah swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wave shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jah is in trouble now - Wave has advanced to mount!

Wave lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jah wants to hold on but Wave pushes him away.

Jah is in a horrible position here. Wave smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wave throwing strikes here but Jah is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Jah is trying desperately to improve position.
Wave lands a big shot there that rocks Jah but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jah is trying to escape the mount.
Oh Jah is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wave lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Wave connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wave loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Jah scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Wave land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Wave stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tidal Wave!
