Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCloud closes the distance and clinches.
Leach drags the fight down to the ground.
Leach working a defensive guard here.
McCloud passes into half guard.
McCloud wants to take a breather but Leach is having none of it.
Leach is looking for a sweep. McCloud is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, McCloud seems content to control.
McCloud is thwarting Leach's attempts to control the position.
McCloud is just content to waste time from the top position. Leach takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Leach seems keen to control McCloud's posture.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leach leaves McCloud with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Leach tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCloud swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Quinten McCloud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leach circles away from the clinch attempt
and Leach counters with a nice low kick that buckles McCloud's knee momentarily.
Leach has a takedown stuffed.
Leach shoots in for a takedown but McCloud shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McCloud misses with a takedown attempt - Leach sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leach scores with a body shot.
McCloud is breathing heavily.

Leach had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCloud defends it easily.

Leach has McCloud pulled in close to control his posture.

McCloud is fighting to break Leach's control of his arms but Leach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

McCloud tries to free his leg and advance position but Leach is retaining full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McCloud wants to clinch but Leach slips to the side
and Leach counters by clinching up.
Leach keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McCloud's efforts to push away.
McCloud has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Leach tries to land a knee to the head but McCloud blocks with his arms.
McCloud fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Leach tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Leach is trying to stall.

McCloud's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McCloud misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McCloud takes a swing at Leach's ribcage but misses.
McCloud keeps the fight on the outside.
No joy there for McCloud, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close round but I would say that Quinten McCloud will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Leach keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McCloud closes the distance looking to clinch
and Leach counters with an outside leg kick.
McCloud defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leach.
Leach shoots in looking for a takedown. McCloud tries to sprawl out of it but Leach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCloud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leach tries to clinch but McCloud is having none of it.
McCloud takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McCloud throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McCloud throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCloud shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leach pinned against the cage. Leach gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McCloud shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Leach is trying to defend but McCloud finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Leach is trying to stand back up but McCloud is controlling him
Leach trying to control but McCloud postures up.
Leach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCloud's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCloud's back!
McCloud can't escape the position.
Leach is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. McCloud knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften McCloud for a finish.
Leach is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. McCloud is defending well though. Leach let's go of the attempt for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leach has his opponent's back but McCloud is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Leach.
McCloud lands with a slapping head kick.
McCloud scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No luck for Leach with that takedown attempt.
Quinten McCloud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Leach.

McCloud instigates a clinch.
McCloud stops a takedown attempt from Leach.
McCloud pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McCloud dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leach. That did some damage!

Leach gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McCloud to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leach tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Leach has momentary wrist control but McCloud slips an elbow through the middle.
McCloud connects with a couple of short punches.
Leach is looking to stand up but McCloud isn't so interested in that idea.
McCloud stands and throws Leach's legs to the side, diving into side control.

McCloud working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
McCloud goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Leach rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McCloud's guard! Nice work there by Leach!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Leach gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McCloud counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leach's guard now.
McCloud is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Leach is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Leach has escaped and now he's on top!
McCloud keeping moving, preventing Leach from controlling successfully.
McCloud tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Leach slips nicely into half guard.
Leach is looking to take a break and control but McCloud is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McCloud throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leach was covering up waiting for the punch and McCloud finishes the takedown easily into guard.

McCloud is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Leach knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

McCloud is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Leach's shoulder. That is not cool.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McCloud connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Leach some visible discomfort.

McCloud gets to mount! Leach was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Leach wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Leach defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Quinten McCloud showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McCloud, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
