Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fu Kyou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fu Kyou! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kyou. Kyou closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miller circles away. Miller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kyou.
Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kyou counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kyou. Kyou sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard. Miller is not content to let Kyou control the position. Kyou trying to control from Miller's half guard. Miller has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kyou scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller controls Kyou momentarily but Kyou frees himself. Kyou is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control. Kyou won't allow Miller to sweep him here. Kyou throws and elbow that misses. Miller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kyou's guard. Nice move by Miller! Kyou is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kyou keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller is really struggling to control Kyou but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kyou can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miller misses with the combination.
Kyou shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Miller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kyou connects with a couple of short punches. Kyou passes easily into side control. Nice work. Miller is not content to let Kyou control the position. Miller regains half guard there - taking advantage of Kyou's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Kyou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fu Kyou dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kyou closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miller to the mat! Miller manages to get full guard. Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kyou postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kyou preventing the sweep. Kyou is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Miller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kyou doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kyou manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kyou must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyou working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kyou trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kyou was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller. Kyou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kyou. Miller throws a leg kick and Kyou counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miller! Kyou with good strikes from the mount here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kyou landing strikes, looking to finish! Kyou controlling the pace for now. Kyou with a couple of short strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyou with the ground and pound from mount. Kyou working Miller over with strikes here. Kyou scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyou is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Miller can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fu Kyou showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kyou counters by clinching up. Kyou has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miller clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Miller wants to control his opponent's hands but Kyou gets his hands free. Kyou lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Miller hold on?!

That's one minute gone in the round. Kyou lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Kyou is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Miller up.

Kyou is looking to control Miller but Miller is wriggling around and keeping busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kyou is riding his opponent, not letting Miller buck him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Miller rolls, trying to escape but Kyou keeps control of the position.
Will Kyou go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fu Kyou. Miller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kyou counters with a single leg into guard. Miller didn't expect that. Jason Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kyou postures up and lands a big shot to Miller's brow. Kyou wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kyou wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Kyou slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Miller is looking for a triangle but Kyou pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Fu Kyou comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kyou winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
