Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Dibiase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ Hitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Dibiase! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RJ Hitz! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dibiase looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dibiase shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dibiase landing strikes, looking to finish! Dibiase wants to control the pace but Hitz is squirming around nicely. Hitz taking shots to the head. Hitz tries to hold on but Dibiase postures up. Hitz is squirming around, avoiding Dibiase's attempts to control the action. Dibiase is really struggling to control Hitz but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitz can't escape the position.
Hitz is in a horrible position here. Dibiase smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like RJ Hitz has been cut. Dibiase goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hitz is on top in guard.
Hitz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dibiase, up you get! Nice takedown defense from Hitz. No joy for Dibiase on that attempt. Dibiase tries to bum rush Hitz with a series of wild strikes but Hitz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dibiase changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hitz tries to avoid it but Dibiase manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hitz to the ground. Hitz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Dibiase. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hitz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dibiase's waist but Dibiase gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hitz off to one side. Dibiase misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hitz has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hitz jumps into guard, dragging Dibiase to the mat.
Hitz keeping full guard, as Dibiase tries to pass. Hitz is pulling down on Dibiase's head to control his posture. Hitz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dibiase is trying to maintain the position but Hitz is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hitz is keen to just control but Dibiase is a slippery customer. Dibiase wants to get back to full guard. Dibiase knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hitz on the ground. Dibiase throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Hitz manages to pass to side control. Dibiase is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dibiase keeps working. Hitz looks gassed! Dibiase is trying to improve his position. Dibiase is not content to let Hitz control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dibiase darts in trying to clinch and Hitz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hitz is thwarting Dibiase's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitz sitting and controlling from the half guard. Hitz stops Dibiase from getting back to his feet.
Hitz working over Dibiase with some ground and pound. Dibiase looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dibiase wants to improve his position but Hitz is controlling well.
Hitz winds up and cracks Dibiase with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dibiase wants to control but Hitz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dibiase is looking to improve his position.
Dibiase is looking to control Hitz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dibiase avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but RJ Hitz will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on RJ Hitz's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dibiase throws a leg kick and Hitz counters with an outside leg kick.
Dibiase shoots for a takedown but Hitz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dibiase misses with a takedown attempt and Hitz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dibiase shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hitz as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Dibiase. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dibiase looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hitz throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Hitz keeping moving, preventing Dibiase from controlling successfully. Dibiase throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dibiase trying to control but Hitz is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hitz can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dibiase throws a head kick that misses and Hitz counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A punch combination from Dibiase misses. Dibiase throws a lazy uppercut
and Hitz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Horrible takedown by Dibiase or perhaps it was just good defense by Hitz which made him look bad. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hitz!
Dibiase has his takedown stuffed and Hitz counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hitz gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dibiase.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dibiase changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hitz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dibiase wants to clinch but Hitz slips to the side and Hitz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ted Dibiase is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dibiase has a takedown stuffed. Dibiase looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dibiase looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dibiase stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hitz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dibiase gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dibiase shoots and misses and Hitz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dibiase goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dibiase is looking to clinch. Dibiase looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dibiase working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hitz is staying active underneath Dibiase, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dibiase is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dibiase is thwarting Hitz's attempts to control the position. Dibiase takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dibiase has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Hitz works to full guard. Dibiase wants to control from the top but Hitz keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Dibiase will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on RJ Hitz's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dibiase pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hitz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dibiase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dibiase looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hitz! Dibiase looking to finish with strikes here!

Hitz regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dibiase trying to control from half guard but Hitz is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hitz kicks Dibiase off and gets back to his feet. Hitz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hitz working Dibiase over with strikes. Dibiase tries to kick Hitz off in order to stand up. Hitz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Dibiase is trying to get back to half guard. Dibiase taking a bit of punishment here - Hitz scoring with strikes. Hitz wants to control but Dibiase is keeping him busy. Dibiase tries to buck Hitz off but Hitz is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dibiase tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hitz presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hitz looking to finish Dibiase with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dibiase! Dibiase throwing hammer fists to the chest of Hitz. What's that going to do exactly? Dibiase tries to hold on but Hitz pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Hitz. Dibiase really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dibiase is working hard here to advance position. Hitz with good strikes from the mount here! Dibiase taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hitz trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dibiase wants to hold on but Hitz pushes him away. Dibiase is desperately trying to improve his position but Hitz has a good base and remains in mount. Hitz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dibiase's face.
It looks like Ted Dibiase has been cut. Hitz controlling his opponent. Dibiase wants to hold on but Hitz pushes him away. Dibiase is looking to improve his position but Hitz isn't that keen on the idea.
And that's the end of the fight! RJ Hitz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hitz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
