The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Svensson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Angelo was well out of range. Poor timing from Svensson.
Svensson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Svensson. Angelo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Angelo tries to bum rush Svensson with a series of wild strikes but Svensson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Svensson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Svensson misses with a kick to the body.

Svensson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Angelo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Angelo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Svensson throws out a loose jab but Angelo uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Angelo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Angelo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Angelo drops his hands momentarily and Svensson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Angelo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Svensson's calf.

A head kick from Angelo lands but Svensson takes it in his stride.

Angelo moves away from the strike by Svensson.
Oh Svensson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Angelo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Svensson.
Angelo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Michael Angelo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Svensson is trying to break the clinch but Angelo has him pressed against the cage.
Angelo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Svensson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Angelo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Angelo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Svensson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Angelo unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Svensson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Angelo is unloading with more strikes now! Svensson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
