Brothers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mario Brothers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Brothers or perhaps it was just good defense by Lombard which made him look bad.
Lombard misses with a wild combination.
Brothers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lombard tries to bum rush Brothers with a series of wild strikes but Brothers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brothers dodges the punch combination from Lombard.
Lombard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brothers blocks a head kick by Lombard.
A head kick by Lombard misses
and Brothers counters with a single leg into guard. Lombard didn't expect that.
Lombard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Brothers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lombard is keeping the position for now.
Lombard working for a triangle but Brothers defends it easily.
Brothers wants to stand but Lombard is controlling his posture from full guard.

Brothers gets to his feet - Lombard follows without any prompting.
Brothers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lombard.
Lombard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lombard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Brothers looks gassed!

Lombard drops Brothers with a beautiful combination! Brothers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lombard is looking for the KO!
Brothers is rocked!
It looks like Mario Brothers has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lombard connects with a nice cross there... Brothers is looking wobbly and Lombard recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Brothers to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Lombard jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
