Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ransom Metz JR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metz JR gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Walker to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Walker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Metz JR utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Metz JR has Walker pulled in close to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Metz JR is on top in guard.
Walker doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Walker throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Metz JR won't allow Walker to sweep him here.
Walker is looking to stand up but Metz JR isn't so interested in that idea.
Metz JR slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Metz JR thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Metz JR wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Walker tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Metz JR swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker.

Walker feints and as Metz JR raises his hands in defense, Walker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Metz JR is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
Walker wants to control from the top but Metz JR keeps moving.
Metz JR has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Walker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ransom Metz JR seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Metz JR is trying to defend but Walker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Metz JR keeps working.

Metz JR is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Walker has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Metz JR looking for a guillotine from mount but Walker is having none of it.
Walker is working to get back to half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Walker will probably get the nod.

and Walker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Metz JR won't be happy with that.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Metz JR keeps working.

Walker is chipping away with strikes.
Metz JR is looking for a sweep.
Metz JR is breathing heavily.

Walker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Metz JR tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Walker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Metz JR napping and manages to drive through into side control!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Walker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Metz JR to the mat! Metz JR manages to get full guard.

Metz JR looking for a guillotine here but Walker defends easily.

Metz JR has his feet on Walker's thighs here. He's pushed Walker off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Walker screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
