Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Piper has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Piper seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Landon Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rodriguez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Piper scores with the left hand. Rodriguez knows he should have avoided that one.
A punch lands to the side of Rodriguez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rodriguez shoots in for a double leg but Piper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Piper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Piper lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rodriguez backwards.
Piper tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Piper throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Piper is working Rodriguez over against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Piper creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rodriguez's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rodriguez drops to his knees and Piper pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
