Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gravis Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuyo Hayate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayate drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bader shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Hayate ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bader moves away.
Hayate chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bader can pounce on him.

Hayate is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bader has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hayate is keen to just control but Bader is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Some bone on bone action there as Hayate checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hayate takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Hayate fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bader avoids it really well and circles away.
Hayate takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bader pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Hayate is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gravis Bader.
