Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zeiasu Kenpachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bmo Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Zeiasu Kenpachi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zeiasu Kenpachi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bmo Morris!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kenpachi does no damage.

Kenpachi is pressed up against the cage. Morris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kenpachi down to the mat. Kenpachi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Morris closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bmo Morris.

Kenpachi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Morris has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kenpachi's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Morris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bmo Morris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kenpachi wants to clinch but Morris slips to the side

and Morris counters with a shoot takedown. Kenpachi fights it but they end up in guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bmo Morris just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Morris looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kenpachi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Morris is nestled in close to Kenpachi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Morris connects with a nice short shot to Kenpachi's temple.

Well Morris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
