Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexandros Nicolaou!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicolaou digs a good body shot into Cruz's ribs.
Nicolaou fails to land with a series of punches.
Nicolaou tries to clinch up but Cruz circles away and keeps his distance.
Cruz blocks a head kick by Nicolaou.
Nicolaou lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nicolaou is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cruz.
Cruz keeps the fight on the outside.
Nicolaou fails to land with a series of punches.
Nicolaou darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cruz tries to get to full guard but Nicolaou has control of the leg.
Cruz is trying to maintain the position but Nicolaou is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nicolaou wants to stand up but Cruz is controlling the position.
Nicolaou is looking to advance position but Cruz won't allow it.
Cruz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Cruz wants to control but Nicolaou is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cruz is staying active underneath Nicolaou, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Nicolaou trying to pass the guard but Cruz defending well.
Nicolaou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nicolaou goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Cruz does a handstand and catches Nicolaou in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Cruz on top - Nicolaou is already out from the submission! Cruz gives Nicolaou's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
