The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Derek Moye has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Man, as that shot connected.
Jab, jab by Moye - just one landing.
Man throws a leg kick which misses Moye's front leg but catches the back leg as Moye tries to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moye is defended easily by Man.
Man lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Moye shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Man as he avoids it easily.
Man bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Moye's head.
Moye takes one to the chin there.
Man throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Moye avoids the head kick by Man.
Man throws a nice outside leg kick.

Moye throws a big shot that misses.
Moye fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Man on the side of the head.
Man plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Moye pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Man slips a jab from Moye.
Man scores with a shot to the body.
Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Moye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Man.
Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet.

Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Man lands a head kick. Moye smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Moye lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Man just misses with a punch to the body.
Man throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moye gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Man counters with a right hand to the body.
Moye blocks a head kick by Man.
Moye looks to land a right hand but Man moved out of range.
Man chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Moye tries for a takedown but Man circles away easily
and Man counters with a good low kick that Moye was not able to check.
Moye is breathing heavily.
Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Moye stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Man.

Man throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Moye. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A head kick from Man lands but Moye takes it in his stride.

Derek Moye's cut is getting worse.
Moye is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Man wants to clinch.
Man tries to clinch up.
A slapping body kick lands there for Man.
Man lands with a nice body punch.
Moye takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Man fails to land with a series of punches.
Man connects with a body shot.

Man thows a body kick. Moye tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Man lands a really nice looking cross but Moye seems unphased.
A thudding body kick lands there by Man!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good standup being displayed there by Man as he connects with a hook.
Moye takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tha Man seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Derek Moye's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A head kick misses from Man.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Moye might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Moye moves forwards but Man connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moye fails with the takedown
and Man makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Man. That's going to slow Moye down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Man. Moye does a little dance to reset his feet.

Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Moye walks forward, straight into a front kick from Man.
Crunch! Man slams his shin into Moye's torso.

Jeez, Derek Moye's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Man lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Man throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moye on the side of the head.

Man scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Man tries to clinch but Moye moves away

and Moye counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moye manages to get himself to full guard.
Man is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Moye looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there.

Moye tries to strike from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Man in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Moye working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Man has passed into half guard!
Man frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Moye is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Moye bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

and Man counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Moye takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Man.
Man is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moye.
Moye avoids the head kick by Man.
Man avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Man moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Man connects with a single shot there.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Derek Moye's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
