Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Cordoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nasir Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cordoza throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cordoza closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard.

Cordoza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Cordoza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cordoza fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Cordoza persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ronnie Cordoza will probably get the nod.

Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cordoza knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
