Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Allgood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Flaim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allgood comes into the arena with Rooster - Alice in Chains blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, JP Flaim! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flaim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Allgood leaves Flaim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Allgood has his takedown stuffed and Flaim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Allgood's guard now. Flaim forces his way into half guard. Allgood is defending against the submission attempts here by Flaim.
Allgood tries to kick Flaim off but Flaim keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Allgood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Flaim prevents Allgood from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flaim takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Flaim is trying to work for a kimura but Allgood is defending well.
Allgood wants to get back to his feet.
Allgood is trying to get back to full guard. Allgood taking some punishment here, with Flaim in his half guard. Flaim lands with a punch from half guard. Allgood is trying to stand up here but Flaim is controlling him well. Flaim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Allgood is breathing heavily. Flaim is working for a kimura but Allgood is defending it quite comfortably.
Flaim looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Allgood looking for submissions off his back. Flaim is trying for a kimura here. Allgood looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Flaim wins by kimura!
