Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ranger showed some decent athleticism there.
Ranger trying to control from half guard but Veloso is working away.
Ranger has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ranger looking to control but Veloso is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Veloso tries to hold on but Ranger postures up.
Veloso is in all sorts of trouble here.
Veloso sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Veloso trying to control here.
Ranger is trying to control. Veloso wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ranger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Veloso tries to get to full guard but Ranger has control of the leg.
Ranger works his foot free and advances to mount.
Veloso is looking to improve his position but Ranger isn't that keen on the idea.
Ranger controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ranger is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Veloso is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Veloso flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ranger anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Veloso and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ranger slips an arm under Veloso chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ranger has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ranger is squeezing on Veloso like an anaconda would it's prey. Veloso fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tex Ranger!
