Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark MacLeod! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaven Bradley! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacLeod changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bradley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacLeod looks up at the clock and then as Bradley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, MacLeod smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bradley is trying to get back to his feet. MacLeod tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no MacLeod has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bradley is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bradley tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Bradley working to try and regain half guard.
MacLeod looking for a guillotine from mount but Bradley is having none of it. MacLeod avoids the attempt from Bradley to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacLeod can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bradley is looking to escape. Bradley regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. MacLeod with a flurry of punches that miss. MacLeod postures up.
Bradley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. MacLeod gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. MacLeod works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bradley tries to get to full guard but MacLeod has control of the leg. Bradley looking for submissions off his back. Bradley looks gassed! MacLeod thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bradley's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. MacLeod stalling. MacLeod wants to work for an arm triangle but Bradley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bradley is looking to escape. MacLeod perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. MacLeod is looking for a kimura here.

Bradley is looking for a sweep. MacLeod is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. MacLeod is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. MacLeod eventually gives up the hold. Bradley pushes MacLeod off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacLeod tries to clinch but Bradley moves out of range. MacLeod moves out of range as Bradley throws a body kick.
Bradley tries to clinch but MacLeod moves out of range. A punch combination from Bradley misses. Bradley wants to clinch. MacLeod is looking to take this fight into the clinch. MacLeod forces Bradley back against the cage and clinches. Bradley fails to pull guard.
Bradley wants a takedown.
MacLeod misses with a hook from the clinch. MacLeod scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bradley avoiding damage as MacLeod throws knees to the body.
MacLeod decides to pull guard. MacLeod throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Bradley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but MacLeod is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bradley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. MacLeod wants to clinch and Bradley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bradley. Bradley wants the takedown. MacLeod is fighting it off but Bradley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in MacLeod's guard against the cage. Bradley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bradley trying to stand up but can't free himself from MacLeod's guard. Bradley stopping the sweep attempt from MacLeod. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark MacLeod will probably get the nod. That's time! MacLeod's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bradley works over MacLeod's head and body with a nice combination. MacLeod clinches but Bradley breaks the clinch and Bradley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. MacLeod shoots in for a double leg but Bradley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. MacLeod closes the distance but Bradley moves to the side and Bradley counters with a one-two to the body. Bradley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MacLeod moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bradley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bradley circles away from the clinch attempt and Bradley counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
MacLeod tries to clinch but Bradley moves away and Bradley counters with a straight right hand. MacLeod darts in trying to clinch and Bradley counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Bradley.
Bradley with an attempt at a knee that misses.
MacLeod tries to land knees in the clinch but Bradley avoids the damage to the body. A short uppercut from Bradley. Bradley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
MacLeod drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bradley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
MacLeod tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bradley's elbow. Bradley tries to pull guard but MacLeod holds him up against the cage and eventually Bradley drops back down to his feet.
Mark MacLeod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaven Bradley. MacLeod stops a takedown attempt from Bradley.
Bradley jumps guard.
Bradley doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
MacLeod trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bradley is breathing heavily. MacLeod slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bradley tries to bench press MacLeod off him but MacLeod keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacLeod working away. MacLeod lands some shots froms side control. Bradley is trying to work for a sweep but MacLeod has mounted him! MacLeod lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bradley is trying to reverse the position but instead MacLeod has taken his back - oops! Bradley covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Bradley wants to escape the position.
MacLeod looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Bradley taps!
