The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder doesn't manage to clinch there - Gorski circles away.
Pounder stuffs the takedown.
Pounder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pounder wants it to stay on the feet.

Pounder pushes Gorski up against the cage in a clinch.
Pounder tries to land a knee to the head but Gorski blocks with his arms.

Pounder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gorski sprawls well initially but Pounder persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Pounder avoids the body shot from Gorski.

Pounder drives through and clinches with Gorski against the cage.
Gorski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pounder walks away with a smile on his face. Gorski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Mateusz Gorski has been cut.

Pounder shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gorski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Pounder drops back looking for a leg! Gorski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gorski manages to kick Pounder off! Pounder jumps back into Gorski's guard.
Pounder is pushing down on Gorski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gorski is fighting to maintain full guard but Pounder has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pounder is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Pounder wants to work for an arm triangle but Gorski is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gorski pushes Pounder off looking to stand but Pounder dives back in and keeps control.

Pounder passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gorski!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gorski reaches up to try and control the position but Pounder seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gorski rolls and tries to escape and now Pounder has his back!
Gorski is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Pounder is hanging on to Gorski's back as he tries to escape.
Pounder is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

You can see the frustration on Gorski's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gorski is trying to defend against the choke here but Pounder has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Pounder Tightens the hold and Gorski taps out furiously! Pounder displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
