Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Potter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dominator is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Potter's half guard.
Dominator lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potter is trying to get back to full guard.
Dominator not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Dominator wants to stand up but Potter has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Dominator not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dominator can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Potter controls the pace.
Dominator throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dominator will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Potter throws a big right hand that misses.

Dominator is breathing heavily.
Potter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

I looks like Potter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Potter moves into full mount! Dominator won't be happy about that!
Dominator on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dominator tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Potter landing strikes, looking to finish!

Potter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Potter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dominator to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dominator shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Potter misses with a kick to the body.

Dominator gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Potter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Dominator looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Potter passes into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dominator tries to bench press Potter off him but Potter keeps the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Potter has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Potter lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dominator hang on?

Potter is working for a guillotine from mount but Dominator frees his head quite easily.
Dominator wants to hold on but Potter pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Potter looking to control and managing it successfully.
Potter cracks Dominator with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Potter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Potter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Potter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dominator did well to prevent Potter getting side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paul Potter.

Paul Potter has got the better of the ground game so far.
Potter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Potter seems to be working for a kimura but Dominator defends the submission attempt.
Potter works his way into full mount!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Potter. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Potter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dominator can't escape the position.

Potter controlling from mount.
Potter working Dominator over with strikes here.
Dominator in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Potter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Paul Potter just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Potter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dominator swats him away and circles back towards the center.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Potter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Potter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
