The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gailfus throws a right hand that Sakuragi ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakuragi also avoids with ease.
Gailfus throws a lazy right hand but Sakuragi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gailfus looks to throw the jab but Sakuragi is out of range.
Gailfus misses with a few strikes there.
Gailfus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sakuragi.
Sakuragi shoots in but Gailfus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sakuragi blocks a jab.
Sakuragi tries for a takedown but Gailfus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jeffrey Gailfus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanamichi Sakuragi.
Sakuragi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gailfus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gailfus wants to stand up but Sakuragi is controlling him.

Gailfus wants to get back to his feet.
Gailfus is in trouble now - Sakuragi has advanced to mount!
Gailfus is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
