Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Thiago, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Thiago moves out of range easily.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thiago misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Thiago shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Thiago's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Thiago has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thiago cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thiago lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Thiago scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jones?
Jones is bucking up trying to escape but Thiago cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jones is squirming around, avoiding Thiago's attempts to control the action.
Thiago is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Thiago dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thiago is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
Thiago drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.
Thiago throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Thiago slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Thiago is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
