Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrei Marshall is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sergio Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes avoids the head kick by Marshall.

Marshall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reyes to the mat! Reyes manages to get full guard.
Reyes will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Reyes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Reyes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Reyes is standing up over Marshall. Marshall looks to escape but Reyes dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Marshall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
