Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Dong Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Ku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Long Dong Silver! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ku fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ku looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Silver shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Silver tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ku knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Silver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Still in half guard, Silver seems content to control. Ku is trying to stand up here but Silver is controlling him well. Silver trying to control the pace. Silver stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ku to get to his feet. Silver pushes Ku up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ku shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Silver counters with a good low kick that Ku was not able to check. Silver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silver showed some decent athleticism there. Silver decides to stand and escape the position. Silver scores with a hook to the body. Ku takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Silver scores with a takedown into Ku's guard. Silver is standing up over Ku. Ku looks to escape but Silver dives into side control.
Silver decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silver has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silver ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silver no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Silver manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Silver content just to control the position here. Ku tries to lock up and control but Silver gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Silver controlling his opponent. Silver with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ku's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Ku might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Silver working Ku over with strikes here. Silver controlling the pace for now. Ku tries to hold on but Silver pushes him away. Silver tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Let's hope that Silver has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ku is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Silver has taken his back! Silver controls the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ku controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. I really don't envy Ku right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Long Dong Silver dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ku with a poor takedown and Silver counters with a straight right hand. Silver darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Silver seems content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Long Dong Silver. Silver is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ku's half guard. Ku throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Silver moves into full mount! Ku won't be happy about that! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. BOOM! Silver connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ku is looking to improve his position but Silver isn't that keen on the idea. Ku is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ku is in all sorts of trouble here.
Silver is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ku has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ku is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Silver controlling his opponent. Ku really wants to buck Silver off and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Silver is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ku is surviving well by controlling Silver's body position as best he can. Silver takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ku is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Silver content just to control the position here. Silver moves to the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Ku. Ku just trying to survive but Silver is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Silver softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Ku controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silver controlling the position well here. Ku rolled but Silver kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Long Dong Silver has got the better of the ground game so far. Silver is looking for the choke from the back position but Ku is controlling his hands well. Ku is taking damage to the body and head. Ku showing good submission defense here.
Silver controls the action. Ku controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Long Dong Silver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Silver rushes Ku and presses him up against the cage. Silver turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silver manages to end up in side control. A lull in the action here as Silver stalls from top position. Silver is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ku looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silver gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ku is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silver lets go of the hold and Ku can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Long Dong Silver!
