Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between shax fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, shax fighter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Homer Simpson! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! fighter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. fighter keeps the fight on the outside. fighter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. fighter tries a head kick but it misses.
Simpson closes the distance but fighter moves to the side and fighter counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Simpson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Simpson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. fighter misses with a body kick. Simpson shoots and misses and fighter counters with a single leg into guard. Simpson didn't expect that. Simpson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Simpson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Simpson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Simpson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but fighter puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. fighter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. fighter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simpson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Simpson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. fighter is working away from the top position though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Simpson dodges the punch combination from fighter.
fighter forces Simpson back against the ropes and clinches. Simpson fails to pull guard.
Simpson looking for a takedown. shax fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homer Simpson. Simpson tries to score a body lock takedown but fighter shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Simpson looks gassed! fighter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
fighter changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Simpson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. fighter clinches up with Simpson and pushes him back against the ropes. Simpson tries to pull guard but fighter won't allow it.
fighter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Simpson throws out a loose jab but fighter uses good head movement to avoid it. fighter clinches but Simpson breaks the clinch and Simpson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. fighter is working an open guard so Simpson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. fighter throws a half hearted mid kick. fighter throws a nice looking combination but Simpson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Simpson fails with the takedown and fighter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! fighter trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. fighter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Simpson looking for a sweep. Not yet Simpson, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
shax fighter dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Simpson misses with an uppercut. Simpson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Simpson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Homer Simpson has been cut. Simpson doesn't succeed with the takedown and fighter counters with a head kick that drops Simpson to the mat! Simpson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Simpson is rocked! fighter tries a head kick but it misses.
Simpson is still on wobbly legs! Can fighter finish him? fighter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Simpson seems to have recovered his senses. fighter misses with a body shot.
Simpson throws a lazy head kick and fighter moves into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Simpson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Simpson is breathing heavily. Simpson looking for a takedown. fighter is trying to trip Simpson. He has hold of a leg but Simpson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. fighter persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Simpson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. fighter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Simpson.
That's one minute gone in the round. fighter looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. fighter is looking to take a break and control but Simpson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Simpson trying his best to control but fighter has mounted him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. fighter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Simpson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Simpson shrugs it off. fighter trying to control but he's not successful this time. Simpson gets back to half guard. Simpson is looking to control fighter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Simpson avoid being mounted? Simpson pushes fighter off looking to stand but fighter dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for fighter. Oh but Simpson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! fighter goes limp - he's gone! Simpson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
