The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
OKeefe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
OKeefe missing with punches from the bottom.
OKeefe manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Aka gets caught flat footed, as OKeefe shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

and OKeefe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aka won't be happy with that.

OKeefe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aka keeps working.
OKeefe throwing strikes but Aka manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
OKeefe is trying to control Aka's posture but Aka avoids it.
OKeefe parries the strikes from Aka easily there. Aka is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable OKeefe to escape.

OKeefe takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
OKeefe is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Aka is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

OKeefe is wriggling around trying to escape.
OKeefe is bucking up trying to escape but Aka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Aka lands a couple of elbows.
OKeefe isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Aka stacks OKeefe on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Aka!
OKeefe sneaks out the side door and pushes Aka away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Aka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

OKeefe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aka decides to stand back up.
Aka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. OKeefe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

OKeefe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Aka escapes and throws OKeefe's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aka has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
OKeefe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Aka counters with a single leg into guard. OKeefe didn't expect that.
Aka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Aka stands up and waves to OKeefe to follow him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aka feints and as OKeefe raises his hands in defense, Aka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kameahookohoia Aka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Aka darts in trying to clinch
so OKeefe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
OKeefe tries to stand but Aka is controlling from the bottom.
OKeefe trying to control the position from guard on top but Aka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Aka has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes OKeefe off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Aka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. OKeefe sprawls well initially but Aka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kameahookohoia Aka has got the better of the ground game so far.

Aka drops an elbow to the side of OKeefe's head.
Aka working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

OKeefe has hold of Aka's hands but Aka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Aka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks OKeefe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Aka stands up from half guard.
Aka shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

OKeefe wants to get back to his feet but Aka drags him back down.

OKeefe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pepper OKeefe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kameahookohoia Aka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
OKeefe working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Aka has passed into half guard!
