Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Marsh throws a one two combo.
Marsh fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gaston on the side of the head. Marsh darts in and clinches Gaston up against the ropes. Marsh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marsh manages to end up in side control. Gaston manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gaston is trying to get back to full guard. Gaston is looking to escape. Marsh trying to pass the guard but Gaston defending well. Gaston is pressing down on Marsh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Marsh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gaston is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaston is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marsh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marsh has escaped and now he's on top! Gaston is trying to keep Marsh in close.
Gaston looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Marsh passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gaston tries to get to full guard but Marsh has control of the leg. Gaston manages to get to full guard.
Gaston wants to sweep here but Marsh controlling him for the moment. Marsh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaston tries to land a sweep but no joy. Marsh's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gaston is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Marsh tries to free his leg and advance position but Gaston is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Marsh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gaston wants to sweep here but Marsh controlling him for the moment. Gaston throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Marsh escapes and throws Gaston's legs to the side, diving into side control! Gaston is breathing heavily. Gaston tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Marsh dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Marsh rushes Gaston and presses him up against the ropes. Marsh tries for a takedown but Gaston manages to get underhooks.

Gaston tries to pull guard but Marsh holds him up against the ropes and eventually Gaston drops back down to his feet.
Gaston is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marsh is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gaston to the mat. Gaston regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Marsh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaston has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marsh has managed to get both his arms back between Gaston's legs - danger averted. Gaston looking for a sweep. Not yet Gaston, not yet. Marsh tries to stand but Gaston is controlling from the bottom. Gaston working for a triangle but Marsh defends it easily.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marsh advances to mount. Marsh is standing up, even though he is in mount. Gaston misses with an uppercut. Marsh saw that one coming. Marsh misses with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marsh swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gaston. Gaston misses with a takedown and Marsh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emile Gaston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gaston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Gaston gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Marsh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Marsh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Marsh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gaston's guard. Gaston tries to strike from the bottom.
Marsh is looking to stand up but Gaston won't let him. Marsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gaston swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gaston wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaston can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marsh controls the pace. Marsh is looking to stand up but Gaston won't let him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gaston with a poor takedown and Marsh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gaston's guard. Randy Marsh has got the better of the ground game so far. Marsh stopping the sweep attempt from Gaston. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Gaston looking for subs off his back but Marsh has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gaston is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Marsh jumps into side control! Gaston is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Marsh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marsh works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Marsh wants to get up but he can't break Gaston's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Gaston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Marsh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marshis looking to pass into half guard but Gaston pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gaston is in guard. Gaston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marsh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gaston drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marsh manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gaston has Marsh in his guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marsh tries to stand but Gaston is controlling from the bottom.

Gaston wants to hit a switch here but Marsh passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gaston there! Marsh get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gaston has his takedown stuffed and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into guard. Marsh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gaston tries to land a sweep but no joy. Marsh wanted to stand there but Gaston had control of the position. Marsh stopping the sweep attempt from Gaston.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaston is working hard here to advance position. Gaston is trying to control the position but Marsh postures up. Gaston wants to hit a switch here but Marsh passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gaston there! Gaston gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gaston has a hand on Marsh's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Marsh takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Marsh controlling from mount. Marsh manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gaston to take his back! Gaston manages to reverse the position and now he's in Marsh's guard. Nice work there by Gaston.
Emile Gaston has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Randy Marsh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marsh looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that's the end of the fight! Randy Marsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
