Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth McGoldstein! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGoldstein misses with a body kick. Matuylevski rushes McGoldstein and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McGoldstein lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Matuylevski or not. Matuylevski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Matuylevski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McGoldstein is trying to defend but Matuylevski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Matuylevski trying to control the action but McGoldstein is working from the bottom. McGoldstein controlling the position for now. Matuylevski trying to control from McGoldstein's half guard. McGoldstein has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Matuylevski tries to free his leg and advance position but McGoldstein is retaining full guard. McGoldstein looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGoldstein is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Matuylevski is controlling him. Matuylevski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGoldstein on the ground. McGoldstein manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McGoldstein goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Matuylevski is on top in guard.
Matuylevski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGoldstein manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matuylevski manages to get himself to full guard.
Matuylevski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGoldstein defends it easily. Matuylevski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Matuylevski tries to get out of the position.

McGoldstein wants to get up but he can't break Matuylevski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McGoldstein decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Matuylevski, up you get! McGoldstein showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matuylevski.
Matuylevski is breathing heavily. McGoldstein lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Matuylevski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McGoldstein controls Matuylevski momentarily but Matuylevski frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Matuylevski keeps control of McGoldstein as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. McGoldstein trying to control the position but instead, Matuylevski has worked for underhooks and has pushed McGoldstein into the cage. Matuylevski breaks the clinch.
McGoldstein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Matuylevski gets a clinch. McGoldstein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Matuylevski just stands there and leans against the cage. Matuylevski misses with a short punch on the inside. Matuylevski gets underhooks to prevent McGoldstein's takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Miroslav Matuylevski will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
McGoldstein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Matuylevski pinned against the cage. Matuylevski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Matuylevski fails with a takedown attempt. McGoldstein with a poor takedown and Matuylevski counters with a nice low kick that buckles McGoldstein's knee momentarily. Matuylevski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Matuylevski tries for a takedown but McGoldstein circles away easily and McGoldstein holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. McGoldstein is looking to break free of the clinch but Matuylevski has double underhooks. Matuylevski stalling the fight.
McGoldstein is leaning against Matuylevski and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Matuylevski's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. McGoldstein is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Matuylevski is keeping busy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Matuylevski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Matuylevski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGoldstein is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. McGoldstein trying to hold on to Matuylevski's head to control him but Matuylevski postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McGoldstein pushes Matuylevski off and gets back to his feet. Matuylevski wants to clinch. Matuylevski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matuylevski showed some decent athleticism there. Matuylevski tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGoldstein knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Matuylevski is thwarting McGoldstein's attempts to control the position.
