Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danneel Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Harris throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.

Johnson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Harris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Harris shrugs it off.

Johnson has hold of Harris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Harris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
