Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danneel Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danneel Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Johnson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Harris throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease. Harris fails to land with a series of punches.
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Johnson wants to clinch up but Harris keeps it at a distance. Johnson dodges the punch combination from Harris.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harris swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bob Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harris. Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris did well to prevent Johnson getting side control. Harris is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard. Harris is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Harris wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Johnson manages to pass to side control.

The fighters roll with the hold and Harris manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Harris's guard. Johnson preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Harris is working hard here to advance position. Harris is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him. Johnson wanted to stand there but Harris had control of the position. Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Harris, up you get! Johnson thows a body shot but no joy. Johnson takes one on the button.
It looks like Bob Johnson has been cut. Danneel Harris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big left from Harris misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Harris misses with a looping right. Harris misses with a combination
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harris won't be happy with that. Harris looks to move to half guard but instead Johnson has passed into mount! Damn! Johnson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Harris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Harris shrugs it off. Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Harris tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to control but Harris wriggling away. Harris is in all sorts of trouble here.
Harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harris can't escape the position.
Harris sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Harris regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Johnson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bob Johnson's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. Harris tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position. Harris looking for a sweep but Johnson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Johnson has hold of Harris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Harris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Harris sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Johnson prevents Harris from improving his position. Johnson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Bob Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. Harris makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Harris. Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson controlling from the top position. Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Harris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Harris wants to sweep but no luck. Harris has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Johnson has passed into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson controls the position from side control. Harris regains half guard. Johnson content to control rather than advance. Harris tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Harris is trying to stand.
Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bob Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bob Johnson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Harris throws a combination that misses and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Harris's guard. Harris is working an open guard so Johnson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Johnson counters with a single leg into guard. Harris didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson stands and steps away. Harris gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Harris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harris is looking to escape. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Johnson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Johnson lands a heavy elbow. A nice elbow there by Johnson. Harris really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Johnson looks to land a strike but Harris avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bob Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Johnson with a nice head shot there. Johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harris manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
