Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gidian Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Overcome by All that Remains. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gidian Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thiago Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki wants to slow Stone down by chopping away at his legs.
Thiago Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.
Suzuki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Suzuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suzuki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Suzuki throws a jab when Stone was well out of range.
Suzuki feints and then cracks Stone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stone down.
Suzuki clobbers Stone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Stone is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Suzuki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Suzuki throws a low kick but Stone avoids it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Suzuki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Suzuki.

Suzuki is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stone can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

You get the feeling that Stone really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Thiago Suzuki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Well Suzuki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
