Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Sinistro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Margot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sinistro takes the fight into the clinch.

Margot should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Margot throws a right and a left that Sinistro avoids nicely.
Sinistro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Margot tries to avoid it but Sinistro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Margot to the ground. Margot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd cheers as Margot lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sinistro doesn't seem phased though.

Margot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sinistro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like Tommy Margot has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sinistro looking to control but Margot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sinistro lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
