The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kola tries to clinch there but Jolley circles away.

Jolley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jolley wants to work for an arm triangle but Kola is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kola is trying to stand.
Jolley moves into full mount! Kola won't be happy about that!

Jolley looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jolley trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Jolley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jolley jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kola manages to avoid the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jolley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jolley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kola tries to improve position but can't.

Jolley has hold of Kola's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kola tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jolley cranks the arm and Kola screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kola, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
