Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardoso has chosen Stemm - Face the pain as his entrance music. Henrique Cardoso struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cardoso darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pinto moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pinto is looking to stand up but Cardoso isn't so interested in that idea.
Pinto wants to control but Cardoso passes easily into half guard.
Pinto tries to roll over but Cardoso keeps him under control.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Pinto will probably get the nod.

and Pinto counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cardoso's guard now.
