Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derwin Hammas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stone Bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Bato misses its intended target.

Bato is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Bato missing with a left hand there. Hammas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hammas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bato swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bato throws a lazy right hand but Hammas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hammas darts in and clinches Bato up against the cage.

Bato manages to break the clinch.

Bato sends Hammas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bato is motioning to the referee to let Hammas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Bato might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
