With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a head kick. Fisher smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fisher bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson's head backwards.
Jackson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Peter Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Jackson lands but Fisher takes it in his stride.


It looks like Peter Fisher has been cut.
Jackson fakes the leg kick and cracks Fisher in the body.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fisher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.

Fisher throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fisher avoids it really well and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Curtis Jackson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fisher avoids the head kick by Jackson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
