Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Pettis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matheus Wayne! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne closes the distance and clinches up with Pettis, looking for a takedown. Wayne pushes Pettis against the cage but Pettis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pettis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wayne throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pettis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pettis is in the full mount, landing strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pettis looking to control but Wayne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pettis looking to control and managing it successfully. Wayne really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pettis content just to control the position here. Wayne is trying to escape the mount.
Pettis working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Wayne keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pettis lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pettis landing shots from mount. Wayne is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Pettis has taken his back! Wayne is covering up but some of the strikes from Pettis are getting through and doing damage.
Pettis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pettis controlling the position well here. Wayne rolled but Pettis kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Pettis is cranking Wayne's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Wayne! He's tightened the choke and Wayne is tapping out!
