Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Putt Birdie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Beebus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beebus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I'm about to WHOOP yo ACE!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Putt Birdie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Beebus! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beebus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Beebus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Birdie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Beebus works a leg free and moves into half guard. Beebus throwing shots but Birdie is blocking nicely. Beebus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Beebus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Birdie's head. Beebus throws a strike but Birdie avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Beebus is looking to work some ground and pound but Birdie has wrist control. Birdie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Beebus works over Birdie with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Birdie wants to get back to his feet but Beebus is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Beebus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Beebus trying to control the position from guard on top but Birdie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beebus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Birdie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Beebus has Birdie in his guard. Beebus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Birdie wanted to stand there but Beebus had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beebus is looking to sweep but instead, Birdie has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Beebus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Birdie trying to stand up but can't free himself from Beebus's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Beebus dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Dave Beebus has been cut. Beebus looks for a takedown but Birdie sprawls well. Birdie lands the left hand.

Birdie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beebus to score an easy takedown into full guard. Beebus trying to move into half guard but instead Birdie has managed to sweep! Birdie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beebus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Birdie has managed to get both his arms back between Beebus's legs - danger averted. Birdie gets to his feet - Beebus follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Birdie misses with a straight left. Putt Birdie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Beebus throws a leg kick but Birdie sees it coming and checks it nicely. Beebus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Birdie tries to kick Beebus off but Beebus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beebus is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Birdie as he works his way to full guard.
Beebus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Beebus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Birdie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Birdie wants to stand but Beebus is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Beebus throwing strikes from guard but Birdie blocks nicely. Birdie wriggles free and stands up. Beebus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Birdie. Beebus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Putt Birdie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Beebus. Birdie scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Putt Birdie dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Dave Beebus's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Beebus dives in and grabs Birdie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Birdie pushes down on Beebus's head and hops out. Birdie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beebus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Beebus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Beebus fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Birdie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Beebus throws a leg kick but Birdie sees it coming and moves out of range. Birdie leaves Beebus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Putt Birdie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Beebus. Decent striking displayed by Birdie there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beebus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Beebus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A jab from Birdie finds it's way through Beebus's defenses. Birdie lands a jab to Beebus's midsection. Birdie drops Beebus with a beautiful combination! Beebus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Birdie is looking for the KO!
That has opened up Dave Beebus's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beebus takes one to the side of the head.
The cut above Dave Beebus's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Beebus tries to keep at a distance but Birdie has taken the fight into the clinch. Birdie lands with a light punch inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beebus jumps guard but Birdie stands there with Beebus around his waist. Beebus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Birdie lands a shoulder strike. Birdie is working Beebus over against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Birdie. Birdie digs a right hand underneath Beebus's ribcage. Beebus let out a lung full of air as it connected. Birdie presses Beebus against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Birdie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Birdie creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dave Beebus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. A nice right hand lands inside from Birdie.
