The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirley blocks a head kick by Bedemar.
Shirley has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bedemar.
Shirley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bedemar throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shirley lunges at Bedemar with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bedemar's hand.
Bedemar fails in his attempt to clinch.

Shirley wants to control from the top but Bedemar keeps moving.
