Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Amadeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Amadeus is refusing to be controlled, as Gomi sits in half guard.
Amadeus is looking for a sweep. Gomi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Amadeus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Gomi wants to control but Amadeus is keeping him busy.
Gomi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amadeus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amadeus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gomi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Amadeus escapes and throws Gomi's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Gomi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Amadeus is now in Gomi's guard. A big mistake from Gomi there, giving up the dominant position!

Gomi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Amadeus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gomi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Amadeus's guard.

Amadeus wants to sweep here but Gomi controlling him for the moment.

Gomi has gone for a leg lock! Amadeus slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gomi's guard.
Gomi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gomi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amadeus keeps working.

Amadeus tries to improve position but can't.
Who's going to make the next move?
Gomi wants to control but Amadeus is keeping him busy.

Tsatsu Gomi dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A slapping leg kick lands for Amadeus.
Amadeus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Amadeus misses with a low kick.
Amadeus throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gomi fails to land with a series of punches.

Gomi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Amadeus to the mat! Amadeus manages to get full guard.

Gomi looking to sit in guard and control but Amadeus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Amadeus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gomi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Amadeus has managed to get both his arms back between Gomi's legs - danger averted.
Gomi tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Gomi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Amadeus is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gomi.
Gomi manages to get back to half guard.

Amadeus decides to return to a standing position.
Good leg kick by Amadeus there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Amadeus throws a low kick, looking for Gomi's leg but Gomi calmly moves out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Amadeus. Gomi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Amadeus is looking to chop away at Gomi's legs.

Gomi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gomi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amadeus sprawls well initially but Gomi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Amadeus is controlling Gomi's trapped leg to prevent Gomi from advancing to side control.
Amadeus is staying active underneath Gomi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Gomi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The fighters are battling for position here. Amadeus manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wolfgang Amadeus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gomi uses his free foot to push down on Amadeus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Amadeus.
Amadeus is desperately trying to improve his position but Gomi has a good base and remains in mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Wolfgang Amadeus.
